
This Canadian man won a lottery on his birthday as he retired on the same day.
Vancouver’s Ping Kuen Shum bought a lotto ticket on 28 April as he was in high spirits from his birthday and the last day of his working life. That night he could have never thought that he was going to scoop in $2 million Canadian dollars.
This win was later confirmed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation as they verified that the man had just scooped in $2 million dollars.
That day this Canadian man must have been going through the luckiest day of his life as he won the lottery jackpot on his birthday and on the day of his retirement with the odds of winning the lottery being 1 in 13,983,816.
As it was confirmed by the British Columbia Lottery Corporation that Mr. Ping matched all six numbers – 09, 12, 13, 18, 21 and 29 – to hit the whole jackpot, and calculated the chances of getting all six numbers as 1 in 13,983,816.

However, the organization said it could not disclose Mr. Ping’s age and occupation.
As far as Mr ping is concerned he celebrated his luck with a decent meal with his friends and family, further he quoted that he planned to travel to China and further sharing his fortune with his family.
